🔹 Authentic Hadith References
Sahih al-Bukhari:
‘Ā’ishah (RA) said: The Prophet ﷺ used to pray two light rakʿahs between the call to prayer and the iqāmah of Fajr.
(Riyad as-Salihin 1104)
Sahih Muslim
‘Ā’ishah (RA) said: The Prophet ﷺ used to make the two rakʿahs before the Fajr prayer so light that I would say: Did he even recite al-Fātiḥah?

🔹 Understanding
Sunnah of Fajr = 2 rakʿah before the obligatory Fajr.
Rasūlullāh ﷺ prayed them short and light.
But he never abandoned them, and he emphasized their importance, saying:
"The two rakʿahs before Fajr are better than this world and all it contains."
(Riyad as-Salihin 1102)
