📜 Authentic Hadith for Jumu‘ah Reminder

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“On Friday there is an hour during which, if a Muslim asks Allah for something good while he is praying, Allah will grant it to him.”

And he ﷺ indicated with his hand that this time is very short.

Jumu‘ah is not just a weekly prayer — it is a divine opportunity.

Allah has hidden within Friday a special hour when du‘ā’ is never rejected.

We may not know the exact time,
but Allah wants to see who remembers Him more,
who makes du‘ā’ sincerely,
and who prepares for Jumu‘ah with presence of heart.

👉 The scholars mention the strongest opinions for this special hour are:

• After ‘Aṣr until Maghrib, or

• Between the imam sitting and the end of the prayer

So the wise believer:

• Increases du‘ā’

• Sends ṣalāh upon the Prophet ﷺ

• Seeks forgiveness

• Asks for relief, guidance, and barakah

🕌 What We Should Do on Jumu‘ah (Based on Authentic Sunnah

✔️ Perform Ghusl
✔️ Go early to the masjid
✔️ Listen attentively to the khutbah
✔️ Send abundant ṣalāh upon the Prophet ﷺ
✔️ Make du‘ā’, especially in the last hour of the day
✔️ Recite Surah al-Kahf (authentic virtue reported)

O Allah, grant us the ability to catch the blessed hour of Jumu‘ah.
Accept our du‘ā’, forgive our sins, ease our hardships,
and grant us goodness in this world and the Hereafter. Āmīn.
