🐋 The Man in the Belly of the Fish
When Prophet Yunus (as) left his people in anger, Allah tested him with the belly of a huge fish. In total darkness, he cried out:
“There is no god but You, O Allah. You are Perfect. I was surely among the wrongdoers.”
(Al-Qur’an 21:87)
Allah forgave him and saved him. 🌊
🌿 Lessons for Us
Be patient with Allah’s plan.
Turn back to Him when you slip.
Even in the darkest moments, Allah hears your du‘ā.
🐋 The Man of the Fish – Story of Prophet Yunus (as)
Long ago, Allah sent Prophet Yunus (as) to guide his people. He warned them: “Worship Allah alone and leave your sins!” But the people mocked him and refused to listen.
💔 Feeling upset and impatient, Yunus (as) left his town — before Allah gave him permission. He boarded a ship, but soon the sea became rough. The sailors decided someone must be thrown overboard. The name of Yunus (as) was chosen.
🌊 He was cast into the stormy sea… and a huge fish (whale) swallowed him by Allah’s command. Inside the dark belly of the fish, surrounded by darkness of the sea and the night, Yunus (as) realized his mistake.
He cried out with one of the most powerful prayers ever said:
لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
“There is no god but You, O Allah. You are Perfect. I was surely among the wrongdoers.”
🌟 Allah forgave him. The fish released him safely onto the shore. After recovering, Yunus (as) returned to his people. This time, they believed, and Allah blessed them with mercy.
🌿 Lessons for Us
Patience: Never rush Allah’s decision — His timing is perfect.
Repentance: No matter how deep our mistake, turning back to Allah with sincerity will free us.
Hope: Even in the darkest place, Allah hears us.
