The Greatest Right After Allah: Honor Your Parents
And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.

Simple Explanation
This verse places kindness to parents immediately after the command to worship Allah alone, showing how great their rights are in Islam.
When parents become old, they may become physically weak, forgetful, or need constant care. Allah knows this stage can test our patience, so He commands us:
Do not even say "uff" (the smallest expression of annoyance).
Never shout at them or treat them harshly.
Always speak with respect, kindness, and love.
If Allah forbids even saying "uff," then insulting, neglecting, abandoning, or abusing parents is an even greater sin.
Lessons We Can Apply Today
Speak gently to your parents, even when you disagree.
Visit them, call them, and care for their needs.
Be patient when they repeat themselves or need extra help.
Make dua for them every day, whether they are alive or have passed away.
Remember that serving your parents is one of the greatest acts of worship.
A Powerful Reminder
Many people spend years chasing wealth but forget the greatest opportunity for Allah's pleasure is sitting in their own home.
Your parents will not stay with you forever.
One day, you may wish you could hear their voice one more time or serve them one more day.
Do not wait until that opportunity is gone.
Reflection
Ask yourself:
Do I speak kindly to my parents?
Have I ever hurt them with my words?
When was the last time I thanked them?
Do I make dua for them every day?
May Allah grant us
Hearts filled with mercy for our parents.
Patience in serving them.
The ability to honour them in the best way.
Jannah through our obedience to Allah and kindness to our parents.

Hak Terbesar Selepas Hak Allah: Berbuat Baik kepada Ibu Bapa
Penjelasan Ringkas
Bersabar apabila mereka memerlukan bantuan berulang kali.
Adakah aku sentiasa mendoakan mereka setiap hari?
Doa
