“On Friday, there is a time during which no Muslim servant stands in prayer and asks Allah for something, except that He will give it to him.”

🕰 Scholars’ Explanation:
Many scholars (including Imām an-Nawawī and Ibn al-Qayyim) mention that the most likely time is:
The last hour after ‘Asr until Maghrib — especially for those waiting for Maghrib in remembrance.
💡 Action Plan for Today
After ‘Asr, sit calmly and make du‘ā — ask for forgiveness, guidance, health, and success.
Remember your parents, family, ummah, and those suffering around the world.
Avoid distractions — keep your heart connected to Allah.
End with salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ.

This blessed hour comes once a week. Don’t let it pass without raising your hands to the One who never turns away sincere hearts.
🔍 What Does ‘Stands in Prayer’ Mean?
The Arabic phrase “قائم يصلي” (standing in prayer) doesn’t necessarily mean performing formal ṣalāh.
At that time, voluntary prayers (nafl) are not allowed after ‘Asr —
so the Prophet ﷺ meant:
A person engaged in worship — remembering Allah, making du‘ā, and staying spiritually connected.
This includes:
Sitting quietly facing the qiblah,
Making heartfelt du‘ā,
Sending salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ,
And asking Allah sincerely.
