Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem,

๐ŸŒค Hadith of the Day โ€“ The Special Hour on Friday

Prophet ๏ทบ said:

โ€œOn Friday, there is a time during which no Muslim servant stands in prayer and asks Allah for something, except that He will give it to him.โ€

(Sahih al-Bukhari, 935) Refferance

(Sahih Muslim, 852) Refferance

๐Ÿ•ฐ Scholarsโ€™ Explanation:

Many scholars (including Imฤm an-Nawawฤซ and Ibn al-Qayyim) mention that the most likely time is:

  • The last hour after โ€˜Asr until Maghrib โ€” especially for those waiting for Maghrib in remembrance.

๐Ÿ’ก Action Plan for Today

  1. After โ€˜Asr, sit calmly and make duโ€˜ฤ โ€” ask for forgiveness, guidance, health, and success.

  2. Remember your parents, family, ummah, and those suffering around the world.

  3. Avoid distractions โ€” keep your heart connected to Allah.

  4. End with salawat upon the Prophet ๏ทบ.

๐ŸŒบ Reflection

This blessed hour comes once a week. Donโ€™t let it pass without raising your hands to the One who never turns away sincere hearts.

๐Ÿ” What Does โ€˜Stands in Prayerโ€™ Mean?

The Arabic phrase โ€œู‚ุงุฆู… ูŠุตู„ูŠโ€ (standing in prayer) doesnโ€™t necessarily mean performing formal แนฃalฤh.

At that time, voluntary prayers (nafl) are not allowed after โ€˜Asr โ€”
so the Prophet ๏ทบ meant:

A person engaged in worship โ€” remembering Allah, making duโ€˜ฤ, and staying spiritually connected.

This includes:

  • Sitting quietly facing the qiblah,

  • Making heartfelt duโ€˜ฤ,

  • Sending salawat upon the Prophet ๏ทบ,

  • And asking Allah sincerely.
